After plenty of meandering and squabbling about directions, we finally found Nylon Coffee Roasters tucked away in one of the apartment blocks of Everton Park. Despite its somewhat secluded spot, Nylon proved to be a popular watering hole.

Chye Seng Huat Hardware could almost pass as just another hardware store on a street lined with similar establishments if not for the twinkling lights that could be spied peeking from their windows and from the people walking in and out holding not hardware appliances, but cups of coffee.

CURIOUS PALETTE

In a charming white shop house with light grey windows sat Curious Palette. It didn?t have a large sign or anything else that would make its presence known at the end of the road, yet it seemed as if people knew exactly what lay there.
